To Die For at Passion for ProMarkers

It's Tuesday again, and that can only mean one thing..

Time for a new challenge over at Passion for ProMarkers.

This week the theme has been chosen by our fantastico Coops! *heart

DIES TO DIE FOR

Pile them on. We want to see you use as many dies on your card.. or dies cuts.. as you can!!

I'll save you the job of counting.. do you wanna know how many I managed to cram onto this card? SIX!! Yuh, huh. I almost lost count when I was creating it. I've got two different borders down the left hand side, one from TH one from SU!, some delicious MFT leaves a MFT rolled daisy aaand, a Spellbinders circle ontop of a MFT mini doily. Now if that ain't enough to spark your memory of all those dies you've got camping out in your craft room I honestly don't know what will!! Now get cracking!!

I know what you're gonna say.. Did you even colour that Lou?! Well yes, yes I did. I know you're not used to seeing more.. pastel shades from me.. but I thought I'd try and give it another go after my last attempt with a LOTV stamp near Valentine's Day. Okay, so her leg warmers and parts of her dress are bright lime green, but you gotta cut me a bit of slack, kay?

A close up of the delighful little clusters of flowers and buttons and liquid pearls and leaves and.. and all that good stuff.

A last little arty shot of the trinket from Kraftin' Kimmie stamped in Melon Mambo ink from SU!

That's about it from me today.

I'd like to enter this card into these challenges:
- Shopping Our Stash - Numbers
- Cutie Pie Challenge - Lots of Layers
- Love to Create - Punches and/or dies
Make It Monday - Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by, and be sure to stop by the challenge blog and enter with some delicious dies if I've managed to inspire you today! xo

For Keeps

What a day it's been. Sun, snow, and a little bit of a gale force wind. Crazy.

Although it is FRIDAY! So I couldn't care less what the weather wants to do with itself as I'm now off for two days. Monday morning will come around like a bat out of hell, but I'm trying not to think of that right now.

So, I've been having Some Odd Girl withdrawls, and then I remembered I've had Pixie coloured up for aaaaages and she's been waiting patiently to have her time.

I decided to join in the SKETCH CHALLENGE over at the Some Odd Girl Blog!

Naturally I went with a red and turquoise colour scheme. Heh.

I added a bunch of Wild Orchid Craft goodness. The Ribbon Girl twill stripe ribbon and navy twine as well as a GORGEOUS flower from a page I recently came across of FB. Search for PETAL LU. Amazing handmade (from start to finish) paper flowers.

I'd like to enter this card into these challenges:
- Some Odd Girl - April Sketch Challenge
- Alphabet Challenges - F for Fantasy
- Die Cuttin Divas - Flowers

Thank you for stopping by. I'm off to do a little bit of colouring before I tryyy and have an early night! :) xo

Birds or Butterflies LLLC

Time for some.. Friday inspiration from the ladies over at La-La Land Crafts! :)

This weeks theme has been Birds and/or Butterflies. I really wanted to create something with a birdie. More specifically.. a birdie die cut with my Slice machine. I had a couple of really cute owls in mind.. but behold.. I couldn't find my Slice charger. Mhm. Typical. So I went with the old faithful punch. A punch from Martha Steward.. to create some butterflies.

Button it Up at Passion for ProMarkers

A fortnight since I posted on my blog. I'm getting a little ridiculous, am I not?! Yikes!!

Well after Monday nights stock take at work I was in no fit state to type up my post for Passion for ProMarkers. So here I am on Tuesday night, only a few hours late. You gonna let me off?!

It was my turn to pick a theme this week, and I went with

"BUTTON IT UP"

I want you to break out those buttons. I know you've got them, and if you're anything like me, you hoard them. Use them up. You'll feel better for it. I promise.. ;)

Here is the card I created using the gorgeous Wryn in the Fall from Tiddly Inks.

I've coloured her up in blacks, blues and a hint of lemon to match my papers from My Minds Eye. I created this card for my Mam for Mother's Day. She isn't a massive fan of pink and girly stuff, so I went with a more.. neutral card. She loves walking and she's always wrapped up in her coat and scarf, so this Wryn was perfect! :)

The sentiment is from a LOTV set which I have stamped onto some Bazzill Bling cardstock (although you can't tell from the photos) with some Brilliance Graphite Black ink. Crisp. ;)

As for the buttons, I've used them to create some movement across the card - kinda like a gust of wind which Wryn has been caught up in. Starting in the top right and crossing down over/under the image to the bottom left, containing the sentiment circle in the same line. I used a total of.. FIVE buttons on this card. Hell, for me, that's quite an achievement. Can ya beat me? I challenge ya! ;)

Head over to the Passion for ProMarkers blog for details on sponsors and prizes!!

I'd like the enter this card into these challenges:
- PHC A Little Bit Crafty - Anything Goes
- Sparkle and Sprinkle - Use a digi
- Heart to Heart Challenges - Button Up

Thanks for stopping by! Off to schedule some blog posts before tea.. if all goes to plan! ;) xo
